Auction Notes
Unused/rejected Ghostface mask gifted by Wes Craven to the owner of the book store used in the film for Sydney's book signing.
Says "Easter Unlimited Inc. Made in China," on the backside of the chin. It was made by Easter Unlimited for the film, as were all the masks, but was rejected due to the dark spotting on the white face (reaction of the hood material with the vinyl?) and unused by production. There were a handful of these masks and Wes Craven gave most of them away as gifts, by our understanding.
From the collection of James Azrael, the founder and head curator of The HSPPA: The Horror & SciFi Prop Preservation Association. Included with your purchase will be a SWAU Letter of Authenticity signed by James.
